Job summary

National Star Services in Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 is seeking a Janitor/ Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe facility across office and shop areas.

The role requires English and Spanish bilingual proficiency, reliable transportation, and availability Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Prior janitorial experience is expected.

Pay is $15 per hour, with bi-weekly payroll, and immediate start is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two valid, updated forms of ID.
• Experience in janitorial/ cleaning services.
• Reliable transportation to get to work.
• Ready to start working as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and degrease shop floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize office common areas.
• Wipe down and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and workstations as directed.
• Clean the interiors of trucks (when needed).
• Collect and dispose of trash properly.
• Follow all safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and shop materials.
• Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of a Janitor/ Cleaner for our location in Cedar Rapids, IA 52404!

Job Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and degrease shop floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize office common areas.
• Wipe down and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and workstations as directed.
• Clean the interiors of trucks (sometimes when needed).
• Collect and dispose of trash properly.
• Follow all safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and shop materials.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
From 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay rate: $15.00 HR!
Bi-weekly Pay!
