Job summary

Flowly Solutions in Burlingame, CA is seeking a dedicated Janitor to oversee facility sanitation, routine surface maintenance, and environment upkeep. You will help keep commercial spaces pristine and support a healthy workplace for everyone.

The role involves cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, operating floor care equipment, and handling waste, with regular safety procedures and SDS compliance. This team-oriented position offers weekday hours, competitive hourly pay, and benefits

Qualifications

• Prior background in commercial cleaning, custodial services, building maintenance, or general labor is helpful.
• Experience handling floor care machinery or specialized sanitation products is a plus (onsite training provided for eager learners).
• Keen eye for detail with a strong commitment to maintaining clean, orderly spaces.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to systematically execute daily task checklists.
• Reliable transportation guaranteeing prompt daily attendance.
• Physical ability to bend, stretch, stand or walk for full shifts, and lift up to 40 lbs safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and shared employee spaces according to established hygiene guidelines.
• Operate floor care equipment, including industrial vacuums, scrubbers, and polishers, to maintain hard surfaces and carpeted zones.
• Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and manage waste and recycling removal across all facility departments.
• Monitor cleaning chemical levels, track supply inventory, and maintain neat, organized janitorial closets.
• Collaborate with facility leads to promptly handle immediate spill cleanups, seasonal deep-cleans, or room prep requests.
• Follow all Safety Data Sheets (SDS), proper chemical dilution procedures, and safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Weekends off)
