Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a dependable Janitor to perform general upkeep, cleaning and sanitation of interior facilities, lobby areas, offices and restrooms per contract requirements.

The role includes vacuuming, mopping, stripping and waxing floors, dusting, sanitizing surfaces and reporting hazards or damages. Evening shift from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm; prior cleaning experience preferred; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to perform addition/subtraction of two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10s and 100s.
• Ability to perform operations with US money, weight, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash and replace liners.
• Vacuum, mop, strip and wax, and sweep all floor areas.
• Dust, wall spot, clean all glass, polish, sanitize all areas.
• Wash, clean, wipe down, sponge, rinse, scour and disinfect any assigned work area.
• Note and report all areas in need of repair and any hazardous condition requiring correction.
• Adhere to all safety rules and requirements and all policies and procedures.
• Report all damage to customer property, suspicious activities and unsafe conditions within their work area to the supervisor.
• All other duties as defined by supervisor.
