Responsible for upholding a clean and safe environment throughout the plant. This position includes a variety of cleaning duties to ensure all work areas remain free of debris and hazards. The janitor also contributes to the overall organization and orderliness of the plant, helping the department maintain high standards of productivity and safety.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas
  • Wiping down and sanitizing surfaces
  • Empty trash and recycling bins
  • Clean, sanitize, and stock bathrooms
  • Organize deck storage areas, tools, and materials
  • Maintain outdoor grounds by removing unwanted debris
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with policies
  • Notify the Supervisor of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented individual with a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized environment, works independently with minimal supervision, and follows safety protocols at all times. Good communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance needs are essential.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to manage your time efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Works well with others
  • Works well when supervisors are not present
  • Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
  • Able to use basic cleaning equipment
  • Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
  • Ability to follow directions from the supervisor
  • Proficiency in computers is preferred
  • Bilingual is preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas.
  • May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards.
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, as well as noise, dust, and vibration.
