Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Part Time Janitor for evening shifts across client sites. Earn $15 per hour with weekly pay and on-site work.

You will perform all-purpose cleaning, floor care, restroom upkeep, trash removal, and general maintenance while following client specifications and safety guidelines.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (or 6 months janitorial experience), attention to detail, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least 6 months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Preferred: prior cleaning or janitorial experience; familiarity with custodial practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for cleaners and power equipment to protect floors.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage waste disposal; operate light equipment.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces; spot-clean carpets and assist in shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies; follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by client needs.

Part Time - Evenings

$15 per hour

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The Janitor position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned area inside a particular building or multiple client sites. Exact tasks of janitorial crew are not definite, consequently, must be flexible in performing assigned duties per client’s specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position
• On the job training will be provided
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions effectively

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
• Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
