Job summary

Fresh Dining Concepts LLC and Jamba are seeking an experienced Jamba General Manager to lead stores, drive guest experience, and achieve sales and financial goals. This hands-on leadership role oversees operations, team development, and adherence to brand standards.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of coaching teams in hospitality or retail, plus ServSafe certification and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and high school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of successful management experience with direct P&L responsibility.
• Current ServSafe certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Experience coaching and developing teams in hospitality or retail.

Position Summary

The Jamba General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the store, including operations, guest experience, sales growth, and financial results. This role leads, develops, and motivates a team of Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant General Managers while ensuring brand excellence and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and model exceptional guest service
• Oversee daily store operations, including food preparation and guest interactions
• Drive sales performance, revenue growth, and profitability
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food/labor cost controls
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team
• Execute strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
• Address guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally
• Partner with regional and corporate leaders to ensure brand standards are met

Job Requirements & Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, squat, and perform repetitive hand/arm movements
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Flexibility to work extended or irregular hours within applicable laws
• Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety and operational purposes
• Ability to evaluate products by taste, appearance, and smell
• Support training and development of new hires

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of successful management experience
• Direct P&L responsibility
• Current ServSafe certification required, or is able to obtain one within 30 days of hire
• Experience coaching and developing teams in a retail or restaurant environment
• Experience supervising hourly and management-level staff
• Hospitality, retail, or restaurant experience preferred
• Background in nutrition is a plus
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent organization and planning skills
• Ability to make sound decisions and influence others effectively
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and basic computer applications
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation
