Responsibilities

• Book suspects into the county jail facility and prepare required documents.
• Search, fingerprint, and photograph suspects.
• Care for and supervise inmates; manage meals, clothing, and cell assignments.
• Maintain jail security and conduct cell searches.
• Transport prisoners to appointments and court appearances.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain daily jail logs.
• Testify in court.
• Perform clerical and office support duties.
