Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred.

• Must be at least 18 years old (location inside jail facility).
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes.
• Food prep tasks as needed.
• Be a team player in a kitchen environment.
• Ensure proper food preparation, handling and storage.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Present food in an appealing and appetizing manner.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and sanitation.
