Job description

Lakeview High School in Cottonwood is seeking to hire a positive and inspiring Junior High Baseball Coach for the Spring of 2027 who will model and teach respect by honoring & mastering the sport while providing life lessons and encouragement.

JOB GOAL:

To instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the coach must instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self‑discipline, self‑confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the student athletes. To upgrade his/her knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc.

Responsible for planning and leading practices, teaching fundamental baseball skills, promoting sportsmanship, and supervising student‑athletes during practices and competitions. Works to develop player growth, teamwork, and a positive program culture while maintaining communication with athletes, families, and school staff.

Stipend is $1,141.00 for the season.
