FabCorp Inc. is seeking a Painter's Helper to support the paint shop team in Tomball, TX. The role involves cleaning, masking, staging, and masking parts for coating, plus forklift-related movement of materials.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and some industrial painting experience. This on-site hourly position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in a moderately loud shop environment.

Responsabilités

• Clean and prepare parts for paint per procedures.
• Blast parts as specified.
• Mask parts per drawings or instructions.
• Load parts or equipment for paint on racks or tables.
• Stage paint jobs in designated areas using forklift or push racks.
• Stencil parts as required.
• Touch up and unmask; place completed parts on shipping pallets.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance daily as instructed.
• Maintain paint booths, storage cabinets and mixing room.
• Confer with supervisor about quality or procedural problems.
• Clock in on all applicable work orders.
• Move products or equipment by forklift.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Follow safety and security guidelines.

Job Title: Painters HelperReports to: Paint Shop SupervisorJob Type: Hourly, Non-ExemptLocation: 27807 Red Fox Rd, Tomball TX 77377SUMMARY Performs day to day activities as instructed by the Coatings Manager, to support warehouse and paint production operations.REQUIRED COMPETENCIESClean and prepare parts for paint following established procedures.Blast parts as required per coatings specification.Mask parts as required per customer drawings or instructions.Load parts or equipment for paint on racks or tables.Stage paint jobs in designated areas by use of forklift or push racks.Stencil parts as required.Touch up, unmask and place completed parts on shipping pallets.Perform routine maintenance on equipment daily or as instructed.Upkeep of paint booths including storage cabinets and mixing room.Confer with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems.Clocks in on all applicable work orders.Monitor and submit request for shop tools and supplies.Move products or equipment by use of forklift.Upkeep and cleanliness of work areas.Follow company safety & security guidelinesAttendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.Other duties as needed.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
