Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an experienced Specialist in the Enterprise Systems Development unit to design, implement, and sustain a new facility management solution. The role focuses on transitioning IWMS to PrimeNet via ServiceNow, plus building metrics and dashboards for maintenance performance across the organization.

You will mentor junior developers and ensure robust software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 11+ years of relevant experience; or an associate degree with 9+ years; or Journeyman's papers with 9+ years; or naval nuclear/operator background with 9+ years; or a bachelor's degree with 7+ years.

Responsibilities

• Support IWMS transition to PrimeNet using ServiceNow: configuration, customization, integration, testing.
• Serve as the technical resource for planning, analysis, design, testing, and data analysis of complex systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications/tools for planning and maintenance management.
• Build and automate metrics, dashboards, and reports for facility and maintenance performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and align with operational needs.
• Support initiatives to sustain software/hardware for IWMS functionality and promote sound SE practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to developers and project teams.
