Job summary

The IVR and/or Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering care within the scope of their training and expertise. This role involves collaborating with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery as per hospital policies and the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unencumbered RN license from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have two years of Cath Lab or IVR experience as an RN or 3 years in ED/ICU/M/S with 1 year Cath Lab/IVR experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during Cath Lab and IVR procedures.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment outside the sterile field.
• Administer medications and manage counts for procedures.
• Prep, document, monitor patient, staff, instruments and equipment, and deliver specimens.

Summary

The IVR and/or Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering care within the scope of their training and expertise. This role involves collaborating with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes, in conjunction with the objectives and policies of the hospital and the Nurse Practice Act of the state of Arkansas.

Working Hours: 7am-3:30pm and 10 week days and one week end of call.

Responsibilities

The IVR and/or Cath Lab RN assists physicians and other healthcare professionals during Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology (IVR) procedures. They work outside the procedure room’s sterile field by ensuring a clean and sterile environment, administering medications, implementing and maintaining counts, prepping for procedures, documenting procedures, monitoring the patient, staff, instruments, and equipment, and delivering specimens.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have two years of Cath Lab or IVR experience as a Registered Nurse or 3 years experience as an ED, ICU or M/S RN with 1 year of Cath Lab/IVR experience.

This job will be authorized 40.00 hours bi-weekly.
