Abbott Laboratories in Irving, TX, is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to perform software integration testing for an automated IVD system used in blood and plasma screening. The role collaborates with development teams to ensure proper test coverage and supports Agile processes in a lab environment.

The position focuses on integration testing across the lifecycle, working with engineers, scientists, and product teams to validate software against hardware targets and real-world scenarios.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years' work-related experience.
• Knowledge of regulations affecting IVDs and biologics.
• Reviews, generates and documents Verification & Validation inputs.
• Experience with statistics, DOE or Six Sigma methods.
• Presents information amongst product teams, scientists, engineers, and other systems development personnel.
• Proficient in operation of instruments and repair/replacement of parts/subassemblies.

Responsabilidades

• Perform software integration testing across the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper test coverage.
• Develop integration test plans and execute tests on target instruments.
• Support Agile SDLC with test activities and user stories.
• Conduct exploratory and end-to-end testing including customer day-to-day scenarios.
• Investigate, report and verify fixes for issues and bugs.
• Travel requirement: up to 5%.
