Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care. The candidate must hold a Georgia RN license and BCLS; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. New graduates are eligible, and hospital experience is preferred for PRN positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• Nursing bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Functions within organizational policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.
