Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the IV Therapy Department. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on mentorship, education, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Active Maryland RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 1 year of Critical Care or related acute care experience

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Report to Clinical Nurse Manager and deliver safe, patient-centered care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care to advance knowledge and skills.
