Job summary

Heritage Valley Health System is seeking a skilled registered nurse to join the IV Therapy department. The role involves inpatient and outpatient intravenous care with 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, and rotating weekends.

You will administer IV therapies, monitor patient responses, and uphold sterile technique, prioritizing patient comfort and safety in a dynamic clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program with PA licensure and current RN status.
• Two years experience proficient with IV insertion.
• Successful completion of required clearances within 90 days.

Department: IV Therapy

Work Hours: Monday through Friday 12 Hour Shifts: 7am-7pm. Rotating Weekends

This position provides professional nursing care to patients requiring intravenous therapy in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing with current Pennsylvania licensure or eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. Two years previous experience in being proficient with IV insertion.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

• Prior experience working with Infusion-ports, PICC line care, maintenance, insertion of PICC lines and Midline Catheters (IVT). Prior experience in outpatient IV Treatments.
