IV Sterile Compounding Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in Peridot, AZ

A full-time Pharmacy Technician position is available in Peridot, AZ, focusing on hospital inpatient pharmacy services with a specialty in sterile compounding. This contract role offers 40 hours per week with flexible evening and weekend shifts, providing an opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately within an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment


• Perform sterile compounding and intravenous (IV) admixture preparations following strict protocols


• Operate and maintain Omnicell automated dispensing systems to manage medication inventory


• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare team members to ensure safe medication use


• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards related to pharmacy operations

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week


• Primarily 10-hour shifts, typically from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, with potential variations from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM


• Evenings and weekends required, with flexibility to accommodate client needs
