Job summary

Starling Oncology seeks an experienced Infusion Technician to join its patient-focused oncology team. The role involves preparing chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy IV medications under supervision to ensure safe, accurate dosing for patients.

Responsibilities include aseptic compounding, labeling, inventory control, quality/safety checks, PPE procedures, and hood certification every six months. In-person work with local travel may occur.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited pharmacy technician program.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License (CA/AZ) or Active Registration with State Board (NV).
• Minimum two years' experience in compounding IV admixtures.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
• In person
• Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Local travel with mileage reimbursement

Responsibilities

• Compounding IV medications using aseptic technique.
• Labeling and packaging compounded IV medications with patient details.
• Inventory management and restocking of IV meds and supplies.
• Quality control to ensure sterility and safety of products.
• Environmental and personnel controls including PPE adherence.
• Hood certification every 6 months.
• Cross training in oral chemo dispensaries.
