Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Denver is seeking an experienced Admix Tech to support multiple locations in the metro area. The role involves preparing and admixing medications under physician supervision, verifying orders, and managing drug documentation and inventories.

The position requires 3–5 years of pharmacy experience with IV skills; IV certification is preferred. Benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a pharmacy with IV skills.
• IV certification preferred; Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate or State Board requirement recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision of a physician.
• Checks orders for completeness of information and for insurance approval.
• Calculates correct dosage volumes and maintains drug programs for indigent patients.
• Maintains current drug information, MSDS sheets, and proper documentation of medications.
• Completes labeling, billing, data entry, and ordering of medications and supplies.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA guidelines and interoffice procedures.
