Element Materials Technology is offering an IUT NDT Training Program on the weekend shift in Windsor, CT. The program is designed to fast-track you from trainee to NDT Level 2 certification through hands-on training and expert mentorship.

Two weekend shifts are available: Friday–Sunday, 6am–6pm with a $4 weekend diff, and Friday–Sunday, 6pm–6am with a $7 weekend diff. Join an elite group and grow into a certified NDT professional.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Able to read and interpret information, write legibly, and present data.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to navigate stairs.
  • Vision sufficient to pass annual exams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations to accept/reject per codes and specifications.
  • Accurately record results and data of nondestructive tests and evaluations.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and follow safety policies.
  • After Level 2 certification, may operate multiple tanks to meet customer needs.

Join Element Materials Technology as an IUT NDT Training Program (Weekend Shift) and embark on an intensive, fast-tracked training program designed to rapidly advance you from trainee to Level 2 certification in ultrasonic immersion inspection. 1st shift - (Friday -Sunday) - hours - 6am - 6pm - ($22.50 base wage + $4 WKD shift diff)2nd shift - (Friday - Sunday) hours - 6pm -6am - $22.50 base wage + $7 WKD shift diff)

Responsibilities
  • Perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications
  • Accurately record results and associated data of nondestructive tests and evaluations
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Actively contribute to company safety culture by observing all company safety policies and procedures
  • Once Level 2 is obtained, employees may be expected to run multiple tanks to assure customer needs are met.
Skills / Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Ability to read and interpret information, write legibly, take accurate measurements from a tape measure, present numerical data effectively, and edit work for correct spelling and grammar
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Need to be able to walk up and down a small number of stairs.
  • Sufficient vision, either natural or corrected, with ability to pass annual vision exams
