Job summary

Eland Engineering, a GAI Company, seeks an Operations Supervisor for our Fort Lauderdale, FL office. You will manage ITS maintenance activities, ensure contract requirements are met daily, and oversee field technicians and support staff.

The role requires a college degree in a related field and hands-on ITS experience; FDOT MOT certification is preferred. You will coordinate with the Department Project Manager, review reports, and improve reliability and safety of ITS systems.

Qualifications

• College degree in a related field such as Engineering and/or Construction.
• 5 years of hands-on ITS maintenance experience.
• Certified in FDOT Advanced MOT (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of ITS Maintenance work performed under the Contract.
• Provide oversight of field technicians and coordinating with RTMC Operations/IT staff.
• Oversee diagnostic reports, final repair reports, progress reports and other submittals.
• Coordinate utility locating and MOT activities.
• Dispatch field/office staff for repairs and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Develop operating procedures and verify proper device and system operation.
