Conti LLC in Florida seeks a Roadway ITS Field Maintenance Technician to support FDOT projects. You will install, program, integrate, and maintain ITS components across traffic infrastructure environments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot wiring, hardware, and software issues.

• Operate bucket trucks and manlifts safely.
• Document diagnostics and reporting using Office suite.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ITS Field Maintenance Technician to support FDOT roadway projects. This role involves the installation, programming, integration, and maintenance of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) components across various traffic infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain ITS components including:
• Dynamic Message Signs (DMS)
• Vehicle Detection & Wrong Way Vehicle Detection (WWVD) Systems
• Edge-Computing Technology
• Emergency Vehicle Preemption & Transit Signal Priority
• Adaptive Traffic Signal Control
• Ramp Metering Systems
• Communications Networks
• UPS Devices
• Perform underground cable locating and inventory of ITS components
• Troubleshoot wiring, hardware, and software issues
• Adjust, repair, replace, and modify electrical components
• Operate aerial equipment such as bucket trucks and manlifts
• Use Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturer-specific software for diagnostics and reporting
