• Operates and supervises the Media Center, following applicable policies and reporting requirements.
• Provides formal and informal instruction in information skills and instructional technologies.
• Develops and maintains a resource collection to support curriculum and student needs.
• Assists teachers in using information resources and integrating information literacy into the classroom.
• Supervises Library Assistants and volunteers, and communicates with administration.
• Keeps current in the field through professional development and reading.
• Promotes the library program and publicizes services to the school community.
