The Learning Center for the Deaf Inc is seeking a pediatric audiologist to provide consultations and direct services for deaf and hard of hearing students in Massachusetts public schools. The role is itinerant and requires technical proficiency with hearing assistive technologies.

Candidates should have a master’s degree in audiology (AuD preferred) and 6+ years of pediatric experience, with licensure. Willingness to learn ASL is encouraged; some sessions may require ASL training.

Qualificações

• Degree in Audiology (Masters or AuD) with 6+ years as a pediatric audiologist and state licensure.
• Reliable transportation; itinerant role with monthly mileage reimbursement.
• Ability to work independently and manage time while meeting productivity benchmarks.
• Strong technical literacy expected.
• All work documented in an online medical record system.
• ASL fluency not required; willingness to learn, ASL classes may be required based on fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Provide consultations and direct services to deaf and hard of hearing students in public school settings.
• Provide technical support to students using hearing assistive technology and soundfield/personal systems.
• Participate in functional listening evaluations and offer recommendations for IEP/504 meetings.
