SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Dallas, TX location to design and develop systems, applications, products, services and data to optimize/automate SAPʼs business processes and improve work efficiency.
Engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements. Perform complex data and system development along with technology integration through learned technology coding languages. Facilitate the system/ service/ product lifecycle, and ensure stable, secure, performant and high available operations for and between system and cloud services. Facilitate agile engagement with the business. Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation. Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement. Participate in de‑escalation activities. Contribute to definition of technical standards and frameworks. Manage cloud technologies, the associated architectural styles (e.g. microservices, containerization, serverless architectures) and web development stacks. Apply agile software delivery process and the industry‑standard toolset for DevOps implementation. Apply modern data processing technologies and methods, such as non‑SQL databases or data lakes. Apply modern SaaS platform, integration, and extensibility concepts.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Position does require up to 20% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated customer sites for technical reviews, discussions, and engagements.

The annual base salary range for this position is $160,285 - $195,976. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step towards demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $160,285 - $222,700. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
