The U.S. Army Reserve is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to help manage, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems and network operations.

This role involves working with military information systems, following established procedures, and supporting secure, reliable operations across data networks. Training is provided, with opportunities to pursue nationally recognized credentials relevant to information technology, cybersecurity, and network defense.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Age 17 to 42, per enlistment rules.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Ability to complete Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, process, and troubleshoot military computer systems and related operations.
• Monitor network activity and support reliable IT system operations.
• Perform regular data backups and assist with recovery planning.
• Handle sensitive information and follow security procedures.
• Apply technical knowledge to identify and address system or network issues.
• Complete required military training and maintain readiness for duties.
• Develop technical skills through training and experience.
