Job summary
Novo Nordisk in Petersburg, Virginia seeks an IT Systems Governance Specialist to oversee governance, schedule, and lifecycle management of assigned IT systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements. You will coordinate validation, change control, incident handling, and security controls with IT Security and SMEs.
The role requires seven years’ experience in IT systems operations, a BS in computer science or related field, and experience in GMP environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in IT systems operation/maintenance, pharma preferred.
- Experience with validation of computer systems and regulatory audits.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Govern IT system requirements and ensure compliance with SOPs and external regs.
- Lead validation and qualification testing (IQ/OQ/PQ) and change control.
- Support audits/inspections and manage system lifecycle and incidents.
