Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to design, develop, and integrate complex systems across their lifecycle in a security-conscious, high-availability environment. This role requires hands-on engineering across Linux/Windows, virtualization, and system automation, with a focus on scalable infrastructure and risk-aware operations.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in systems engineering or 7+ years as senior sysadmin, U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of systems engineering experience or 7+ years as senior systems administrator.
• Linux and Windows architecture experience with deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Virtualization expertise (vSphere, ESXi, Hyper-V).
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware; document procedures for IT support staff.
• Optimize hosts and servers for high availability of infrastructure and systems.
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
• Research and propose automated approaches for system engineering tasks.
