The Trade Desk is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to design, automate, and operate identity, access, and enterprise platform ecosystems across Azure, Entra ID, and related systems. You will build scalable workflows and APIs to reduce manual work and strengthen security.
You will own RBAC, SSO integrations, automation pipelines with Tines, and API-driven integrations with Infoblox and Portnox, while applying AI-assisted tooling to improve operations.

The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, automating, and operating The Trade Desk’s identity, access, and enterprise platform ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of Identity (authentication & authorization), Automation (Tines), and Enterprise Infrastructure (Azure, DNS, DHCP, endpoint platforms).
This engineer will act as a builder and integrator, developing scalable workflows, APIs, and agent‑driven solutions that eliminate manual processes and improve security posture. The ideal candidate is energized by automation‑first thinking, is fluent in identity systems and APIs, and is comfortable building solutions using modern tooling including Tines, Entra ID, and AI‑assisted development (Copilot, agentic workflows).
Note: Interns are not eligible for variable incentive awards such as stock‑based compensation, retirement plan, vacation, tuition reimbursement or parental leave.
In accordance with various U.S. state laws, the range provided is the Trade Desk’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non‑discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills and location.
All employees may be eligible to become Trade Desk shareholders through stock‑based compensation grants, which are awarded based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation such as variable incentive awards, commissions and benefits including comprehensive health care, retirement benefits, disability coverage, life insurance, well‑being benefits, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, sick time, vacation time and paid holidays. The trade desk also offers competitive benefits. Base salary for this role ranges from $77,600 to $142,200 USD.
