Job summary

Advanced Management Group (AMG Nevada LLC) is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join the technology team in Las Vegas. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT infrastructure to ensure performance, security, and reliability across on-premises and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of systems engineering or administration experience, strong Windows Server and Active Directory skills, and familiarity with Azure AD/M365, Hyper-V,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of hands-on systems engineering or administration experience.
• Proven expertise with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Preferred MCSE or VCP certifications.
• Technical proficiency with Azure AD / M365, Hyper-V, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, IT ticketing systems, PowerShell or CLI scripting, and cloud storage/backup technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments.
• Implement system configurations aligned with business objectives.
• Perform regular system monitoring and maintenance; ensure high availability of critical services.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support upgrades/patches.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects from conception to implementation.
• Coordinate project timelines and deliverables with stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities

The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for:

• Maintaining and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud environments.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering or administration.
• Demonstrated expertise with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Preferred certifications such as MCSE or VCP.
• Technical proficiency with:
  • Azure AD / M365 administration
  • Hyper-V virtualization
  • Networking protocols/services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • IT ticketing system configuration and management
  • PowerShell or CLI scripting/automation
  • Storage and backup technologies in cloud-integrated environments
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, configuration management systems, or ITSM frameworks such as ITIL.
