Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to install, configure, troubleshoot, and support network devices, Windows servers, and SAP ERP modules in a regulated environment. You will liaise between site users and HQ IT, support manufacturing systems, and assist with infrastructure builds.

The role requires 5+ years in IT/network roles, CCNA/CCNP, and comfort with after-hours support. Experience in Pharma/biotech or GMP context is valued. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience
• Associate’s degree with 7+ years of relevant enterprise IT/network experience
• Strong experience troubleshooting network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, WAPs)
• Experience supporting Windows-based virtual servers
• Experience providing Tier 1–2 IT support in an enterprise environment
• Experience working in regulated industries (pharma, biotech, food, beverage, etc.)
• GMP experience
• Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
• SAP ERP support experience (including iDOC monitoring)
• Experience supporting manufacturing or automation systems
• Experience working on greenfield or large CAPEX projects
• Experience with network security implementation

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support IT network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, WAPs)
• Provide Tier 1–2 network and server support, including occasional after-hours support
• Support Windows virtual server environments
• Provide Tier 1 SAP ERP support, including monitoring, analysis, and issue resolution
• Act as liaison between site users and corporate IT/HQ support teams
• Support IT infrastructure build-outs (server rooms, patch rooms, hardware/software installs)
• Maintain network and infrastructure documentation per corporate and regulatory requirements
• Support backup and restore processes for manufacturing systems
• Work with vendors for troubleshooting, installations, and reliability improvements
• Ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, and quality standards
• Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements
• Complete assigned SOPs and maintain training readiness
• Collaborate closely with project management and delivery teams to meet milestones
