Job summary

Elevate Recycling and Disposal Services is seeking an hands-on IT Systems Administrator to own day-to-day technology operations and lead integrations of acquired companies onto Elevate's standard IT stack. You will harden networks, support drivers and dispatchers, and ensure a secure, reliable environment across all sites.

Ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in systems administration, strong Microsoft 365/Entra ID and Google Workspace skills, plus practical networking and cybersecurity know-how.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on systems administration in a multi-site or fast-changing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Entra ID and Google Workspace.
• Experience with Windows Server and endpoint/MDM management.
• Solid networking fundamentals: firewalls, VPN, switches, Wi‑Fi across distributed sites.
• Practical cybersecurity practices: MFA, patching, EDR, backups.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and end‑user communication.
• Willingness to travel 25–40% and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Administer core platforms including Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, identity and access management (Entra ID / Active Directory), and endpoint management (MDM).
• Support end-user hardware across offices and field locations.
• Maintain network infrastructure (firewalls, VPN, switches, Wi‑Fi, ISP/connectivity) across offices and sites.
• Provide help desk support, triage tickets, and build self-service resources.
• Own backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Lead IT due diligence and integration plans for acquisitions; migrate acquired systems onto Elevate’s standard stack.
• Consolidate vendors and build repeatable playbooks for faster future integrations.
