Steuben County REMC is seeking an IT Systems Administrator in Angola, Indiana to manage the cooperative’s core IT systems, including servers, networking equipment, and security tools. The role focuses on system stability, security, and availability while partnering with internal departments and vendors for specialized support.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree in IT (bachelor’s preferred) and 3–5 years of IT experience, with strong communication and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in information technology or related field required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years information technology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the cooperative’s core IT systems (servers, networking equipment, security tools).
• Ensure system stability, security, and availability; manage infrastructure within defined responsibilities.
