Job summary

Agital is seeking an IT leader to administer cloud-based SaaS platforms and act as a hands-on technical lead for a growing IT team. You will oversee M365 and Google Workspace migrations, strengthen cybersecurity controls, and partner with leadership to define scalable IT standards and processes.

You will manage vendor relationships, licensing, and cost controls while ensuring a world-class employee experience and seamless service delivery across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in IT administration or end-user support.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Experience managing cloud/SaaS apps for productivity and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, cybersecurity controls, and privacy/compliance basics.
  • Certifications in Microsoft, Azure, Google, ITIL, or CompTIA preferred.

About The role

Reporting to the Director, IT, you will lead administration of SaaS applications including Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and you will serve as a service desk escalation point, i.e., level 2/3 support, for all core IT applications and services. The primary responsibilities of your role will be to:

  • Act as the hands-on technical lead for a growing IT team in a 100% cloud-based organization.
  • Perform major system migrations and consolidations internally and in coordination with external partners, to include M365 and Google Workspace migrations.
  • Closely support the Director, IT and other leadership to:
  • Ensure a high level of service quality and efficiency are consistently delivered throughout the organization.
  • Further establish the corporate IT platform as a scalable and agile function throughout the business.
  • Develop and implement standards and processes for IT and Service Delivery.
  • Manage a diverse set of partners and internal stakeholders including the MSP.
  • Manage cyber risk and secure the organization by integrating effective cybersecurity controls into the delivery of IT services.
  • Deliver various M&A and growth-related initiatives as needed.
What You'll Do
  • Manage and administer day-to-day IT systems and cloud apps including:
  • M365, Google Workspace, and other common business and collaboration tools (Adobe, DocuSign, ClickUp, etc.).
  • Identity management (Azure).
  • Core business applications (Hubspot, Salesforce, Netsuite), as needed.
  • Cloud infrastructure (email routing, domain names, and DNS).
  • Execute key IT and Cyber projects such as cloud tenant migrations, rebrands, and implementation of new cyber controls.
  • Support the front-line service delivery team in addressing escalated support issues, acting as their primary point of escalation.
  • Closely support the Director, IT and other leadership to:
  • Define key processes and SOPs ensuring efficient IT operations and world-class employee experience, e.g. employee onboarding, offboarding, and IT support.
  • Track and manage IT hardware and software assets.
  • Ensure a high level of quality and employee satisfaction.
  • Manage IT and division vendor contracts, ensuring licenses and subscriptions are right‑sized and spend is in line with usage and budget.
  • Facilitate change management through effective planning, communication, and project/task management.

Reporting To You

Currently, this role does not have any direct reports, but it will have the opportunity to influence and help determine a future staffing and operating model for IT – this is expected to include supporting the Director, IT in building out an internal team in line with Agital’s growth strategy. Within the team, this role has the greatest potential to line manage additional technical roles as they are added.

What You'll Need
  • BS/BA in IT, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years previous work experience in IT administration or end-user support.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace including hands‑on configuration and administration of these platforms.
    • This must include the use of either Microsoft 365 PowerShell Modules or GAM.
  • Extensive experience managing or supporting cloud/SaaS apps for employee productivity, collaboration, and work management (examples Adobe, Atlassian tools, Clickup, Monday.com, Slack, Zoom).
  • Detailed understanding and experience implementing technical controls for hardware, cloud services, email, and identity management services (examples Azure/Entra ID, SSO, SCIM, Google Identity, SSO, SCIM)
  • Working knowledge of IT service management concepts and frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity detective and preventative controls for information and data protection.
  • Conceptual knowledge of privacy and compliance rules and regulations.
  • Certifications including Microsoft, Azure, Google, ITIL, CompTIA preferred.
