Network Administration: Maintain and optimize network infrastructure across the Chicago HQ and remote endpoints, including firewalls, routers, managed switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and security configurations.

Endpoint & Lifecycle Management: Oversee employee workstation procurement, imaging, deployment, software patching, endpoint security, and IT asset tracking.

Employee Onboarding & Support: Serve as the primary internal IT contact, executing technical onboarding/offboarding and providing day-to-day helpdesk support for computers, printers, applications, and network connectivity.

Data Security & Continuity: Manage system backups, patch management schedules, disaster recovery procedures, and data security protocols to protect internal systems and data.

2. Client Technology Deployment & Field Support (Additional Responsibilities)

Print Management & Workflow Deployment: Install, configure, and support customer-facing print management platforms (e.g., PaperCut MF/Hive, PrinterLogic), document management solutions, and workflow automation tools.

Device & Network Integration: Configure and troubleshoot network-connected Xerox and HP multifunction printers, embedded applications, and print queues.

Conference Room & AV Installations: Install and support conference room technologies, including video conferencing systems, cameras, microphones, speakers, controllers, and interactive touchscreen displays.

Pre-Deployment Discovery & Technical Support: Assist sales and operations teams with technical customer discovery, site network assessments, hardware readiness audits, and proof-of-concept testing.

Escalated Technical Triage: Provide Tier 2/3 remote and on-site technical support for escalated customer hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.

3. Documentation & System Governance

Technical Documentation: Maintain complete network diagrams, system configuration records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, and site deployment data.

Ticket Ownership: Take full ownership of internal IT support tickets and client deployment escalations through root-cause resolution.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Internal IT SLA & Resolution Rate: $> 95\%$ on-time resolution for internal employee IT requests and workstation provisioning setups.

Internal System & Network Uptime: $> 99.9\%$ operational uptime across internal network infrastructure, VPNs, and core cloud services (Google Workspace/M365).

Deployment Configuration Accuracy: 100% configuration accuracy for client print management, AV, and software installations against agreed deployment scopes.

Site Setup & Network Documentation SLA: 100% completion of customer site setup records, IP mapping, and technical handoff documentation prior to project closeout.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in systems administration, IT support, network administration, or field technical support.

Systems & Cloud Expertise: Proficient in administering Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, cloud backup solutions, and identity management systems.

Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi architectures, VPN configurations, DNS/DHCP, subnets, and firewall troubleshooting.
