Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Associate II to assist the operations team at a Schertz facility. You will troubleshoot integrated computer systems, support Windows, Mac or Linux environments, and help train new hires while delivering reliable service to on-site and remote customers.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
• 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
• Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
• Assisting in training new hires.
• Continuous learning of new technologies.
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
• Moving up to 49lbs as well as standing and walking for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
• Flexibility with schedule, shift rotation between days & nights
