Job summary

CGS is seeking an IT Subject Matter Expert to provide expert guidance on applications and systems software. You will analyze hardware, software, and telecom systems to help define processes and procedures used across departments, and develop SOPs, presentations, and training materials for varied audiences.

The role focuses on design, development, and delivery of IT documentation and procedures, with engagement across IT and business stakeholders to improve efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in OBIEE, OracleForms, and OracleReports.
• 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a clearance.
• Experience with Agile methodology is highly desired.
• Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., ADVANA) is highly desired.
• Experience with UNIX OS is highly desired.
• Experience with Java is highly desired.
• Experience with SFTO is highly desired.
• Experience with APEX is highly desired.

IT Subject Matter Expert

As an IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CGS, you will provide expertise in application and systems software to a variety of key stakeholders. You will undertake analysis of complex hardware, software, and telecommunication systems to help define processes and procedures for use cases across departments. Your role includes design, development, documentation, and delivery of standard operating procedures, presentations, and training materials for a wide range of audiences.

Skills and attributes for success

• Assess and, as necessary, re‑define procedures and standards using best practices.
• Work with a wide range of key stakeholders and system users to enhance understanding of agency systems.
• Coordinate program goals, requirements, performance analysis, and innovation projects with IT and Business experts.
• Provide recommendations for improvements in IT systems and other business ventures.
• Develop procedures, manuals, and documentation for process and technology needs.
• Define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced.
• Support the operation and maintenance of complex IT systems.
