Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Information Technology Specialist I to support DoD SAP programs near Colorado Springs, CO. The role covers Tier 1/2 help desk, hardware/software configuration, upgrades, and system documentation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in enterprise IT within a DoD setting and hold, or pursue, Sec+ CE; active TSSCI clearance is preferred. Expect strong emphasis on network and systems troubleshooting, firewall and file server management, and security monitoring.

Qualifications

Job description

A client near Colorado Springs, CO is looking for a Information Technology Specialist I to join an existing program. This candidate will primarily function within Special Access Programs (SAP) supporting several different DoD agencies. This role will support day-to-day activities within these Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs. The type of support provided will range from basic tier 1&2 help desk functions, to hardware/software system configuration, upgrades and modifications, or maintain file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems and system documentation. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in an enterprise, DoD environment, and will be well versed in Information Technology on both network and systems troubleshooting.

MUST HAVES

• Active TSSCI Clearance (preferred CI Poly)
• SAP Eligibility - Bachelors Degree
• 2+ years of experience within Information Technology performing basic network, telecom and systems troubleshooting/maintenance
• 2+ years of experience perform Hardware/Software System Configuration, upgrades and modifications
• Experience maintaining file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation
• Sec+ CE
