DC Army National Guard information technology specialists support a nationwide military network, maintaining networks, hardware, and software, and building secure systems to protect data and operations.

You’ll gain hands-on training in network security, systems administration, and software development while earning a regular paycheck and pursuing tuition assistance through the Montgomery GI Bill.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ages 17–35.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of networks, hardware, and software.
