Job summary

Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Point Mugu is seeking an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) to serve as an Information System Security Officer for the PMSR Department, Enterprise Systems Branch, ensuring the security posture of DoD information systems.

You will help develop, maintain, and update Assessment and Authorization packages for assigned IT systems and collaborate with PMSR ISSOs to verify access requirements and user training.

• You will serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) for the Point Mugu Sea Range (PMSR) Department, Enterprise Systems Branch as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
• You will assist in developing, maintaining, and updating Assessment and Authorization packages for assigned IT systems and collaborates with other PMSR ISSOs
• You will verify that prospective users possess the requisite security clearances, supervisory need-to-know authorizations, and user awareness training before recommending access to DoD Information Systems (IS).
