Job summary

DLA Careers in Cleveland, OH seeks a data infrastructure engineer to design, build, and automate the data systems that underpin DoW’s logistics data standards. You will transform strategic visions into robust data-driven products by crafting pipelines, modernizing knowledge bases, and introducing automation to improve accuracy and speed.

You will design secure APIs and data interfaces, enforce exchange standards, and engineer ETL pipelines supporting analytics, BI, and data science projects.

Qualifications

Duties

• Serves as the primary technical data expert responsible for designing, building, and automating the data infrastructure required to modernize DoW’s logistics data standards.
• Transforms strategic visions into functional, data-driven products by developing robust data pipelines, modernizing knowledge bases, and implementing automation to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
• Designs, develops, and maintains secure, modern APIs and data interfaces, enforcing strict exchange standards and protocols to ensure seamless, real-time interoperability across systems.
• Engineers and manages ETL pipelines to support internal analytics, business intelligence, and data science initiatives, ensuring data on partner data exchange, compliance, and performance is clean, structured, and readily available.
• Develops, tests, and deploys scripts and modern database architecture to replace legacy document-based processes with modern, scalable knowledge bases.
• Leads the piloting, development, and deployment of generative AI solutions, document automation tools, and internal collaborative workspaces.
