Job summary

Compass Connections seeks an IT Specialist - Data Software to support data reporting and analysis across programs in San Antonio, TX. You will develop dashboards, maintain data systems, and ensure data accuracy while handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring Excel expertise, SQL knowledge, and Power BI skills, plus the ability to work with Salesforce and UC Portal data. The role is full-time on-site with benefits starting at day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Two+ years of related experience or training.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Knowledge of SQL, HTML5, JavaScript, ETL frameworks, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Create and update SWB reports as assigned.
• Resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner.
• Create, maintain, and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly reports, including SitRep.
• Work with data models, database development, and design methods.
• Collect data using available technology systems.
• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines applicable to this position.
• Participate in meetings and team decisions and operations.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Identify data trends and data needs based on program feedback.
• Implement safety protocols including evacuations when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct per policies.
• Navigate Salesforce and UC Portal to audit and update data.

Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times. **Other Responsibilities:** 1. Delegate tasks associated with daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual reports. 2. Maintain an open line of communication through various platforms and use effective email etiquette when communicating. 3. Maintain large amounts of data across various programs and perform daily audits to ensure accuracy. 4. Navigate and use the Salesforce platform to audit, maintain, and update various forms of data associated with different boards. 5. Navigate the UC Portal platform to audit, maintain, and update various forms of data associated with different boards. 6. Effectively use Microsoft Suite software apps (such as OneDrive) and create and share files between the team, programs, etc. 7. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and be able to create, update, and maintain presentations associated with various factions of data audited. 8. Manage databases, ensure security, and maintain data systems in order to perform their duties effectively. 9. Other duties as assigned. **Requirements:** 1. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment. 2. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request. 3. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks. 4. Possess extensive knowledge of Excel, which includes but is not limited to, formula creation and maintenance, data analysis, and data visualization. 5. Knowledge of the following: a.
