Job summary

ARES Corporation on Merritt Island seeks an Information Technology Specialist to serve as a technical expert for the development, implementation, management, and support of systems and networks. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and a proactive approach to IT delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years related IT experience.
• Knowledge of IT principles and methods.
• Familiarity with COTS products and internet technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out complex assignments and develop new methods and approaches in IT specialties.
• Evaluate new and enhanced approaches to delivering IT services; test and optimize functionality of systems, networks, and data; define technical requirements.
• Lead IT projects from start to finish (e.g., touchscreens, gaming kiosks).
• IT areas include Office Automation; IT Security; IT Project Development; IT Infrastructure/Facility Management; IT Property Management.
