Job summary

The United States Fleet Forces Command is seeking an Information Technology Specialist (CUSTSPT) to join the Telephone Management Division, N5 Policy-Plans-Projects, at NAVCOMTELSTA San Diego.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or 24 semester hours in CS/engineering/IS/information systems management/mathematics/operations research/statistics or tech mgmt or related field.
• Two years of progressively higher level graduate education with 24 semester hours in the identified fields and experience developing/adapting applications, systems or networks.

Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: -Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks, OR -Successfully completed 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
