Job summary

bp is seeking an IT compliance specialist within its global Digital Compliance team to deliver IT SOx and related controls across digital services.

You will advise digital teams on compliance requirements, support audits, assess changes for risk, and drive improvements with AI-enabled controls while coordinating with key partners.

The role involves up to 10% travel, hybrid working, and collaboration across cultures to uphold bp's standards and governance across a large-scale organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance, risk and compliance for large organisations.
• Hands-on IT controls knowledge including SOx.
• Delivery of regulatory compliance, IT audit and control testing programs.
• Experience forming effective partnerships with other digital teams.

Responsibilities

• Enable IT compliance program delivery, including audits and control testing.
• Support regulatory registration, self-assessment and audit delivery for region.
• Advise on compliance management and testing approaches for IT SOx.
• Support technology teams on projects to identify and manage compliance risks.
• Drive continuous improvement using AI and automation for controls.
• Establish relationships with key partners in the delivery of compliance.
