Job summary

Trident Consulting is seeking an IT SOX Analyst for a client in Rosemead, CA. The role is hybrid (2 days on-site Tue and Wed) and contracted for 18+ months with pay rate of $70/hour on W-2, all-inclusive.

You will support IT SOX controls, risk management, and governance, collaborating with business lines, IT, internal/external auditors and SOX governance to assess, document, test, and remediate controls. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential, with focus on process improvement

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in internal controls, SOX, risk management, audit, or business analysis.
• Strong ITGC knowledge including Access Controls, Change Management, SDLC, and automated/configurable controls.
• Experience testing controls, RACMs, control narratives, and design/effectiveness assessments.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage ambiguity.
• Comfortable using AI and digital tooling.

Responsibilities

• Support IT SOX, business controls, risk management, quality management, and control documentation activities.
• Partner with Business, IT, Internal Audit, SOX Governance, and external auditors.
• Assess, document, test, and remediate internal controls.
• Lead IT SOX deficiency reviews, RACMs, and control narratives.
• Support SDLC assessments, control design, scoping, remediation, and governance reporting.
• Perform business analysis including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and action tracking.
• Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, standardize, and improve controls.
• Use AI and digital tools to improve analysis, documentation, and reporting.
