Job description

The IT Sourcing Consultant will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for IT projects within SCC's Sourcing and Supplier Management Team. The consultant works independently, managing the sourcing process from solicitation documents through evaluation, negotiation, and risk mitigation to deliver contracts that meet the customer’s best interests and align with VA Public Procurement Laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing process, including creation of solicitation documents, evaluation of proposals, and negotiation strategy execution with selected suppliers.
• Manage a variety of sourcing projects, including complex IT contracts from initial request to executed contract.
• Lead evaluation and execution of risk mitigation strategies and establish solid contracts that are in the long‑term best interest of the customer.
• Manage customer expectations for project deliverables through effective and timely communications.
• Conduct post‑project lessons‑learned reviews with customers to promote knowledge transfer and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
