Job summary

Newport News Shipbuilding, A Division of HII is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software. You will lead the design and implementation of complex software components and contribute to architectural discussions within a Scaled Agile environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of exempt experience, or a higher degree with fewer years, and may accept military experience or relevant

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant exempt experience required, or a Master's Degree with 3 years, or a Ph.D. with no experience.
• Equivalent qualifications may include military experience or relevant certifications.
