Job summary

Smithfield Foods in Virginia is seeking an IT Service Manager to lead the ITSM function within Infrastructure & Operations. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure incident, problem, and change management are executed in line with objectives and policies, and to drive continuous improvement across service delivery.

The role emphasizes governance, KPI development, ServiceNow and dashboards, and close partnership with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in administration and management of IT service management tools (ServiceNow).
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles and ITIL v3 certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise to enhance and standardize ITSM processes.
• Coordinate changes and ensure compliance with change/release management windows.
• Lead the development and maintenance of KPI dashboards and reports.
• Lead/participate in creating ITSM Roadmap and guide vendors and stakeholders.
• Support on-call rotation and provide updates to IT leadership.
