Job summary

Cymertek Corporation is seeking an IT Security Specialist in Aurora, CO to protect sensitive information and oversee threat detection, incident response, and security policy enforcement. The role requires a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, risk assessment, and hands-on experience with security monitoring tools.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and possess a proactive approach to emerging threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Alternative experience may substitute for a degree per contract.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
• Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response.
• Ability to implement security policies and controls.
• Understanding of risk assessment and vulnerability management.
